ABOUT PLPC
PLPC was founded in 1973 by Doug Harrison and remains a family run business to this day. The company initially operated from a small ex SSEB yard in Belhaven road, Wishaw, before moving to our current premises at Roadmeetings, Carluke in 1982.
Over the last 48 years PLPC have built an enviable reputation for being able to tackle any kind of power line work from LV to 132kV, in some of the most remote and rugged terrain that the UK has to offer.
To do this we own a large fleet of vehicles, plant, stringing equipment and specialist machinery and hold vast stocks of materials. All of this however would be useless, without the expertise to put it to use safely and effectively.
We pride ourselves on having a loyal and respected workforce with a combined experience of over 300 years!

OUR CUSTOMERS
We work together to build good relations with all our customers to ensure ease of communication, regardless of size. We work alongside major Distribution and Transmission Network Operators through to private landowners, on rural and urban projects, large and small.
All customers are treated the same and work is tailored to suit your individual requirements. We will ensure the safe and efficient delivery of projects, to the required timescales and ensure for minimal damage and disruption throughout. We aim to constantly improve our services and appreciate any feedback from our customers.
